I have an avic-d2 and am using the terk xm tuner boxes. Every feautre works on xm except presets. I can direct tune and i have all station and track information but can't set a preset. The unit has been unplugged since installation but still cant set presets. Is my terk box defective or is it just not designed to work with the avic-d2?

Terk boxes always seem to have problems. Just spend the 99 bucks on the Pioneer one

x2. Not to mention the terk tuner doesn't have an ipbus pass through like the pioneer does.

the main reason i have the terk units is because i have the adapter for my alpine in my other car and a second antenna. Depending on which one i drive i move the universal box to that vehicle. Keeps me from paying for xm twice. Any other suggestions.

Beg Terk to improve the software on the next generation and exchange it for free

A second receiver only costs $7 more. $7 more is worth no more issues and presets to me.
