So this is my first pioneer, I see everyone is customizing the splash screen. How do you go about doing this? I've seen some pretty cool pics on here.

Easiest way seems to be putting a jpg on an SD card, and in the headunit's options there is a 'splash screen' option. You can browse the SD card for the file you put on. I'd say keep it to the resoultion of the screen 800x480 I believe.
