I have the iphone 5 and since the cable doesn't work I have been using bluetooth to listen to my music. However, if I hold me phone a certain way the audio cuts out. If I hold my hand over the bottom of the phone, put the phone in my lap, or in my center console. I have tried three different phones and the same issue. Has anyone else been having this issue or should I assume by unit has a defective bluetooth module?

My iPhone 5 can Bluetooth audio to the x950 from outside the car up to maybe 6-8 ft away, BUT if I out it in the metal roof of the car? Audio starts breaking up.put it on the windshield? Works fine. Pint being, be sure your dash isnt heavily covered in insulated metal that could be blocking it. Bluetooth is easily cancelled by metal near your phone or near your headunit.

My dash is abs plastic. Its just strange to me how I had no problem with last years model and all of a sudden I have problems where the phone is located.
