Anyone completed an install of a Z1 in an 07 Expedition whether replacing the factory unit or doing it from scratch ??

Thanks

Anyone got any pics or install guide for the Expy ? Does anyone know if the factory DVD nav is Pioneer based or not in these units ?

Yea Ford uses Pioneer for their cars and trucks.. I have no pics but I have a buddy that I know did it and it fit and looked good...

Does the expy allow route input at all times while driving since it's voice supported (the factory nav) I mean

You know I am not sure. But really its built off the Z1... but I would ask the Dealer on that.. What I do know is that Dealers get a trimmed down version of what Pioneer sells so getting a Z1/2 would have more functionality...

Hah. Once again, I'm a bit late on this.

Under my old username (ThisIsZachary), I posted pictures of a new install (done by me, it took about 4 hours or so, including the steering wheel controls, XM/Traffic, and BT unit) in a new 2006 King Ranch Expedition. I bought the unit from Crutchfield, and the install sleeve that came with it fit perfectly. I am pleased with the overall appearance, but have issues with some functionality, which is why I'm here searching.
