I have done a search and all i can find is how do download and burn an update disk. I have an update disk.I just need to know how to update my maps with it. If i just stick it in it tells me to insert appropriate disk.

So what are the steps to update?

hi , u just need to insert the dvd in the unit , make you sure to have a compatible unit 
if the dvd don't start itself the upgrade probably u need to clean your lens laser
