Hi guys is it possible to run a cable from my homemade ashtray dock then plug it in to my Appradio lead for my Iphone 4S so all the trailing lead is the glovebox, or is there no lead available which means I would need to use the Appradio lead which I don't want to do

Does your homemade dock have the full 30 pin layout wired? If yes, then just make a female version of it and run that cabling to wherever you want to hide the cable that it comes with.

Hi thanks for the replies as for the ashtray dock, it does not work so I suppose the answer to your question is no, but the cablejive lead as recommended does seem to be the daddy I found another forum with someone using one with the Appradio so defiantly works but expensive,

but we all know the saying buy cheap buy twice in most cases

I've bought those cheap one from China. Then thrown them away and bought the one from cablejive. That pretty much explained everything.
