Ok guys I have the Appradio 2 now and well as it is a neat unit its just not for me. So I took it out and stuck it on eBay to get some of my money back. (looks like I may get it is all back. Yippy!)

So after looking a lots of units I decided to go with the 5500BHS. I also went ahead and got a back up camera off amazon, the ipod interface cable, (probably didn't need it) and the u250 GPS unit w/ traffic tuner.

Im most excited about the Pandora Bluetooth feature, hd radio, and GPS.

Are there anything I should be aware of while doing the install with this equipment or issues with anything I purchased? Also I had a micro bypass on the Appradio 2 that worked just fine will that work with this one as well?

Be aware that incorporating the U200/250 has been known to render the bypass ineffective. I would email Microbypass and inquire with them.

I contacted them and they said it would work with the 5500 but only time will tell. I ordered everything from amazon and they are taking their sweet time to get it out. ugh

I got my radio installed yesterday and so far love it. Its much more usable than my app radio 2 for me anyways. I'll update when I get the cameras and gps unit in.

please update us with the nav add on and bypass, i am curious if you can use the bypass and the u250

I went through the same thing you did. Had Appradio2 for a little bit, didn't like it and ordered a 5500.
