Good day, Is there a way to power off the unit. I have the original Appradio DA02, my question is there a way to power off the unit. SO if the radio is playing, is there a way to kill it? I cant figure it out if there is. Thanks in advance!

DA-02- I don't believe there is. 

DA-100- go to the main screen, where it shows you the ipod symbol and settings and such. Slide to the second page, press the off button.

ive tried one then the other and even both together, but the headunit is still powered, the physical buttons are still lit up!!!

can anyone else tell me how to turn this off?

There is no power button on Pioneer units.

thought so, mines wired to ignition and its annoying with the startup warning screen, looks like im gonna hard wire it thru a switch then
