I just updated my head unit and I also got a new iphone 5 with the 30-pin to lightning adapter.  I tried watching netflix today and I had audio but no video on my head unit in app mode.  Is this an compatability issue with the older X920bt and the iphone 5?  Is there a way to fix it?  Also I tried using the appradio mode and my phone just keeps saying to connect to the radio even though its already plugged in.  

You need to get the i5 specific cable. CD-IV202NAVI plus the required Apple cables.

Ya, you need the CD-IV202NAVI VGA adapter then the Apple adapter for VGA to lightning. They are about $50. Although, i have both and cannot get audio or video so who knows if the combination even really works. Is anyone able to get audio and video from iphone5 to an X940BT successfully?

Call Pioneer and ask them what the problem is.
