Hi,

I recently imported a car into New Zealand and it has a AVIC-HRZ008 installed. From what I can see there is no english option or english firmware update for this model.

Does anyone know if this has been released under a different model in the US or UK / Australia? It looks similar to a Z3 or HD3 but not identical. It would be nice if I could upgrade the firmware with an equivalent model.

The Z series is the closet related model. The HRZ units are Japan only along with the tech they use.

Thanks for the info, it looks like I might be out of luck with trying to get an English version on this one. Such a shame as the unit is amazing.

Can we just replace with Z3 firmware for AVIC-HRZ008. really it is a nice set but it will be very nice if it have english

Thanks for your reply. As I can see your very active in this forum. can please give me solution. I have insert STD in my HRZ008, it boot perfectly but problem is I don't have remote, so I stuck at the boot screen and can't do anything. is there any way eject the STD manual?

I have no idea. These are Japan only and most people in the US have never even seen one of these much less had any use of one. Sorry.

please can avid hrz09 language be change to English am in Ghana. or any help on the FM stations they are not working
