Just got the Avic-z150. I got everything up and running and my phone is connected via HDMI and everything shows up on the head unit. Can you use the phone from the head unit itself? When I touch the screen on the head unit a hand with an X shows up. Am I missing anything or is though no mirrorlink?

You have two options:

- Limited apps control. Using pioneer stock app (AppRadio) you can control some apps like Waze, Maps ....

- Full phone control. Using ARLiberator app you can control your phone from the Avic. The mobile has to be rooted and depending on the model, it could need more things to get it work. There is a forum dedicated to this app.
