Does the AVIC Z?/HD1BT have a trip information display?

I mean - one that has basic trip information to be used when you are NOT navigating with an entered route. Time driven, total miles and so on.

Like this Garmin screen: trip.jpg

yeah my garmin had the same thing. And the answer to your question is no. If you want more specific vehicle information, you will have to buy their additional unit.

Actually, there is a trip readout on the Z1. I forget where it is off the top of my head, but it basically just shows the number of miles driven since it was installed, but it can be reset. Not as nice as the image above, but it works. It's under System Information or something like that. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll search for it.

Also, you can use vehicle dynamics for the compass, and when you have a route entered, it will show the distance in miles and time to your destination when you have a map up in navi mode.

So you can get all of this information, just not in one easy-to-read screen like above.

Resetting the [Distance] does not effect the 3D Hybrid status smart ass. They can be reset independently, or all at once

WHAT?!!?!?!?!?!

In the post you deleted, you said that reseting the distance also resets the 3d hybrid. It does not
