I got in my car today and my F90BT turned on like normal then all a sudden the screen shut off, all the buttons shut off but it was still powered on i could hear the fan going. i tried to restart it 3 times by turning off the car and back on no change. 

anyone able to help with this?

I may not be the expert in this forum , but from my experience with electronic devices, specially computerized , this may be like a big doo doo. Internally meaning, Unless it does not respond to testmode, then i believe u have a dead unit. Mainboard, a shortcut somewhere, a fuse or something like that. It sounds like it does receive power since u can hear the fan. But that it. If Power words, often if the mainboard the next to look at.

Hope somebody else has a better opinion on this. But to me that's what it sounds like.
