COOCHO = That houston stereo shop does NOT have any in stock right now.

Posted Feb 27, 2007 · 04:18 UTC#6

Smartass thinks he's cute. Don't think he has grown up. There's no hope for his kind.

Posted Feb 27, 2007 · 04:34 UTC#7

my kind? What does that mean? being racist?

Posted Feb 27, 2007 · 05:29 UTC#8

Dont be racist, that aint cool. anyways, bottom line is you probably should not place an order since they are out of stock. Unless you like waiting a long time for it........ 8)

For all you out there, Coocho is an insult I throw at newbies who dont do searches or post stupid things like this person here.

Thanks I was wondering if/and/or when my question would get answered.

Posted Mar 01, 2007 · 02:21 UTC#11

yeah its not so much of an insult as it is a random word i made up. Too much time on my hands? Perhaps... but its fun to call people things that they dont understand.

Smartass24 It's clear you didn't understand the question. I wasn't asking if Bico had Z2's in stock as that was clear. My only question was "Did anyone know anything about Bico Stereo? For your information I did do a search on Bico and I did not find anything on them. So please keep your "SMARTASS" insults to yourself.

OK, I won't do anymore smartass insults, but your thread is pretty lame.

and in regards to the thread being godo or not, I suppose if you take in consideration that there are a bunch of threads about avic purchases and even specifically z1/2 its clear. not to mention the fact that that site is out of stock and really doesnt mean anything until they have it, or taking orders at the least. I mean if you want, I can put up a site in a few minutes with the z2 advertised as $14 including shipping, but out of stock if you want. Basically it means nothing.

Ok, I will accept that as an apology and we will put this behind us. I guess you are right this is a pretty lame thread. I was only trying to find out if Bico was a reliable company to do business with. Maybe I asked the question the wrong way because everyone wants to tell me they are out of stock on the Z2's and I already knew that. That is very clear when you go to the site. However, They also sell subwolfers. So I was considering ordering a subwolfer and maybe a Z2 if and when they get them in and if their price is still cheap. So, at this point I only wanted to know about the company but no one seems to have any experiance with them. Or at least they have not posted that they have had any dealings with Bico.

This is Chris, from Bico Stereo. We've been in the business since 1984 and have sold Pioneer since then. When the unit comes in, the price is still what you see on the web site. I understand your worries about our popularity/reputation online. I am a forum sponsor on www.houstonperformancedriving.com , this is a local forum in Houston and all of you can see how well we do business on there. I don't condone a lot of internet business because most of the brands we carry don't allow internet selling since that is unauthorized. Massive Audio, Memphis Car Audio, Arc Audio, Atomic Loudspeakers, Boston Acoustics, JVC Arsenal are all brands that do not allow online purchasing of their car audio equipment WHATSOEVER. Except for Boston Acoustics, since Crutchfield is authorized to sell online. So if you happen to get your hands on a product, good luck with it and your 'warranty.'

Brands like Pioneer are dispersed freely online and are not under strict online sales regulations. I've sold countless D3's already and waiting on the Z2 to come in to get those to whoever needs them. Feel free to call and ask for me, phone number is on the website, not sure I can post it on here.

this thread is like three months old. how could you still not have any z2 in stock?

Posted May 26, 2007 · 14:57 UTC#18

Still? Never said that. Since it came out I haven't sold many to tell you the truth. The JVC KD-NX5000 has been easier to sell here in Houston at half the price(<$1000), even though it's not as fancy, the ability to have HDD and Bluetooth with navigation for half the cost of the Z2 most customers would not hesitate. I have sold only two Z2's locally and that's my whole inventory here until I need to reorder. Any online orders of the Z2 will be shipped from our Pioneer warehouse. I need to tell my webmaster to change the 'out of stock.' Either way, just letting you guys know the response to the Bico Stereo question. We've been in business for a long time, we don't sell opened/refurbished/used items. 8)
