The cream wire found in the HVAC bundle reverses the Illumination of the AVIC-Z1... Is there a polarity issue I overlooked?

Not understanding what you're talking about the illumination. It should invert the colors when the headlights turn on only, or is yours inverted no matter what the status of the headlights is? As for a gallery dunno. You could do what most do here and just post a thread with your pics.
