After attending the 2007 Detroit auto show this year to check out the first Premier of the Crew max Tundra I would like to ask anybody that knows who would design a custom dual din Bezel to fit the New 2007 Tundra .

Currently as with pasted Toyota system there Navi layout sucks on features and doesn't provide Hdd support and Music from Grace note's.

this picture below is the factory based dvd navi system with No Xm traff Navi that I took at the show.As most of us can tell the aftermarket is going to have to design a Dual Din for the z1/z2 too fit ....

You have any other pics of it, maybe zoomed out a little?

this is the other radio option notice the system does have an aux button for the I pod not sure how this comes into play for the Z1/Z2. The New tundra also has a Voice bluetooth mode as well on the sterring wheel's on some model's..

Very doubtful the camera is going to be rca jacks. The dash is a redesign, so I'd say probably 6 months or so before there's a kit availible for it.

The only reason I am saying rca type jack's is because Toyota also has an option for tundras Not with Navi that is above the rear view mirror . The Display at Detroit has an lcd screen above the rear view mirror.

I too am planing on getting an AVIC-Z1/2 for my '07 Tundra Crewmax but I cant wait 6 months for it so I think I will be taking it to a custom stereo install shop to see what they can fab for me.

One thing I am reading that has me nervous is the Pioneer bluetooth adapter for the unit... from the reviews I have read people really dont like it, they claim there is always feedback and the other party always thinks you are in a windtunnel and apparently it does not like the Sprint PPC-6700 smart phone.

Will I still be able to utilize the steering wheel stereo functions as well??

So now I really dont know what to do

My bluetooth works perfect, no complaints from anyone I've called (and I've asked). I have had problems with the steering wheel interface though (intermittent).

Why do people insist on stealing the stereo knobs at auto shows? Idiots. As for the bluetooth, most people seem to be satisfied since the update disk has come out. For the kit, it may take a while to be released or you could have someone build you one like you mentioned. Not sure on the steering wheel controls, you may want to check with PAC/Periferal

Learn how to do fiberglass and make your own. Pretty simple actually. Then paint it to match the dash parts. Either black or silver.

Yeah fiberglassing is easy.... It's making it look good, that's the hard part.

More to the point, the kit for the truck is availible now. Part number is 99-8220. allows for single or double din.

i've done three of these trucks.... a Z2 and two D3's. since the kit isn't out yet...the easiest way to do it is to take apart the factory radio and cut the opening. i filled the holes and then wrapped it in suede. (i know, sounds easier than done) the d3's didn't look as good because the face doesn't tilt, but it still looked good. the kit is supposed to be shipping out now, through metra. :)
