920bt to 940bt new pioneer upgrade — AVIC411 Forum Archive

I used the hack here last year to upgrade my 930 to a 940. I am now trying to use the official pioneer 940 upgrade.. to work with my iphone5.. is this even possible? I have downloaded the software and everything works up until i get to the screen that says

Select “System uCom Writeâ€ with the VOL

(+/–) button, and then press the MODE button.

The following screen appears.

For AVIC-X940BT, the Multi-control knob

is used instead of t

he VOL (+/–) button.

Confirm (1) the SD version is “8.05â€ a

nd (2) the uCom version is “8.04â€ or earlier.

it does not list a sd version.. i have downloaded the software twice and tried 2 different cards..

am I doing something wrong or missing something?

i have the same problem

do you have video if you click on av1 and no audio?

my radio sees the iphone.. will play the ipod part but no audio and alot of the features do not work.. ugh..

did you use a mac or pc to download the update?

I used a mac..just wasnt sure if that had something to do with it.

anyone else?
