has anyone done this,  i just updated to the x940 software 4.0 but i noticed on pioneers website there is a 5.1 update anyone tried this or send me in the right direction, any problems please share.

I will be following this thread...but I wouldn't do it if it meant losing voice commands...it's been working well.

I tried video worked for iphone.. but audio did not and it got stuck on cmos ------ step 6-7 in the update. no audio through the iphone cable. i have heard there will be another update.. but I called pioneer and they said I had to send my radio in to get the radio back to normal. not sure.. I have posted this right below your post as well.. no replies yet on mine.. good luck... let me know if you find something.. So frustrating.

i havent tryed it i dont want to brick my unit. i was waiting to see if anyone has done it and if it worked or not
