Z1 Screen only powers up 50% of the time

Any ideas???

 

Installed Z1 in Nov 06 with no problems. In January I noticed that the Z1 powered up with a black screen and recently it has started to happen more often. Everything works, but no screen, it remains black. I've searched but have not seen this problem discussed. :(

Sounds like it could be the baacklight for the screen.

You should check the connection between the Screen and the Unit.

 

Its a short flat ribbon cable that connects the two. It could be loose.
