I sold my 5500bhs and picking up the 2600bt.  My question is can you map a steering wheel control to activate siri.  I was unable to do this with my 5500bh.  I was using the metra axxess module.  The only way i could access siri on my 5500bhs was to hold the app button down.

I'm wondering the same thing. I am installing an AVH-X3600BHS (same as yours plus HD radio) with an Axxess Metra ASWC-1 and want to program activating siri.

From my understanding the ASWC-1 does not support it at least thats what there tech support said.  I know a bit how these interface work, and they work of resistance. The question comes to did pioneer build it into there wired remote feature set?

Sorry I'm a year late. I just installed mine and mapped 'mode' in my 2009 Corolla to 'push to talk' (#12 in the ASWC-1 manual).

If I push and hold mode, Siri activates.
