hello i own the 920bt by pioneer but would like to upgrade to the 950bh. can i just pull the 920 out and use the same harness that was there and just plug the 950 in? so kinda like a plug and play type of deal

I guess it depends on the car/truck model? For example in my 2007 Chevy HHR (and other Chevys I guess) there are different adapter modules depending on what electrical/computer system changes are made and when. I would suggest contacting a local stereo install shop and see what they say.

i mean like the wires that hook in the unit it self i just want to take the 920 out then just hook the new one in. like no need to splice wires again.

I am going from x-940 to x-950 and the power harness is different. I can still use the same rearview camera and XM tuner. So i hoe that answer this for you
