Ok...I am having a problem today with my AVIC....the screen will not open. I have read the owners manual and well it is worthless. I have removed the face plate and replace...nothing. I have turned vehicle on and off...no luck. I have reset the unit...and no luck....so any clues what to do next? I have the product replacement plan from best buy...so thinking of just going back to best buy on Friday and having them replace it...but I know they will want to "bench" test it....anything you can think I should do before taking it to them?

Probably the flex cable. By the way best buy will not replace the unit. It has to go to their service center. If the service center can't fix it, that's hen it gets replaced.
