I have a appradio 3 with the pioneer android connection kit connecting to a samsung s4. I have change the app mode to other on the setting screen. I have the usb and hdmi plugs to the mhl box bit it's telling me "usb connection is temporarily disabled for device protection. Do not connect this usb device. To reset usb, restart the unit." Has anyone encountered this problem before?

I got it worked out. I replaced the pioneer mhl adapter with a samsung one and it's all good now.

Having same issue with gs3 and mirrorlink cable, using samsung adapter and mu200 cable.

Any ideas would be helpful..

Bummed out, I'm getting the same thing.  Could you perhaps tell me which MHL connector you purchased to fix this issue?
