I don't know if this has been asked but Im trying to get google maps to go full screen in my app radio2 . I can get it up but it has the black bars on the side. Am I missing something?

This has been covered about a billion times. iOS defaults to enabling the overscan protection when mirroring the screen, which is the cause of your black bars. AppRadio Apps turn off overscan protection through a command in their programming, which is why they display fullscreen. Apple has not given the users any way to turn overscan protection off. 

You would almost think there would be a search function where one could have found this info.....Oh wait!  There is!!!
