Hi guys , I was wondering if someone could shed some light and a fix to an issue I'm having with my AVIC.

This unit was purchased new over 2 years ago and has had no updates installed since then. Everything was working fine until I purchased and installed the new Australian Map update from Pioneer. Installation went well but as it got up to 89% it came up "Error has occurred and update has failed" No matter what I try ( reset , re install) it wont go past 89%.

Now the unit will not go past the Pioneer welcome screen and I'm at my wits end. I called a local Pioneer dealer and they said it has to be a failure in my blue tooth module causing this, I don't understand how as the  Blue tooth was working 100% before installation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Original Map number is 01.000600 and Version is 2.000000 . Regards

Gee thanks for all the reply's guys, all the know it people must be on Holidays. Well if anyone is bothered looking I did get it fixed. A big thumbs down to the two independent Pioneer service agents near me feeding me crap about my blue tooth being the issue.

I rang Pioneer head office and took the whole car down to them, they updated the system to 2013 and now working fine. Thank you to Pioneer for such a professional service at no cost. Cheers

Any chance you could upload the files from your memory card so we can try to hack it.
