X4500bt & NO advanced app mode — AVIC411 Forum Archive

I have all required cables (CD-IV202AV and lighting VGA adap.)

The appradio app on my iPhone stays grey,(does not light up red)

The screen on the x4500bt just mirros whats on my iphone.

When i press the appmode on the x4500bt the screen goes black. When i touch the screen an X and a finger appear in the top right corner.

My x4500bt has latest firmware amd i have no problems connecting Bluetooth w/the iPhone.

As you can see a "X" and a finger pointing towards the "X" is all that appears on the units screen. Again, I'm not able yo get into advanced app radio mode. I have the set to "VGA adapter", Bluetooth properly connected with all supporting cables. Any help would be appreciated.

I finally figured it out. I am not sure what it was but I removed a few Cydia tweaks that was preventing me from going into advanced app radio mode. It was more than likely a tweet that involved a "video out" tweek. I must say that the advanced app mode is nice but a little choppy. I think i need to mess with ut more to really start to enjoy it. App radio extensions(cydia tweek for app radio) is awesome but, like app radio, it's somewhat choppy… Yet, It is pretty awesome to have the ability to surf the Internet, text, access my photos and other things from my head unit.
