Hey all, have had my F900BT for years now and it a few days ago started to go into a boot loop after crashing mid-use.

 

Have had some issues trying to install the new 4x firmware and a new map package and was getting errors about 'unable to read file' and a couple random errors that didn't make sense.

 

I then looked at the size available on the unit itself (My Flash Disk I believe) and it was close to 2GB and comparing to what was on my SD card there wasn't enough space by a few MB.  Instead of saying 'device full'/etc it said unable to read file and the other errors I was getting.

 

What I did was just delete a few state POI files I know I'll never be driving to.  Deleting the Canadian one should be good enough as it's over 30MB.

Glad I tried this as I almost resorted to buying the update that's available on eBay but now I don't have to.
