Wondering if anyone can help me, trying to get my iPhone 5 (iOs 7.1) connected to appradio 2 (sph-da100) but can’t connect

I have the original ipod cable plugged to the USB Lightening cable then the lightning cable to the Digital AV adaptor

HDMI from the headunit into the Digital AV adaptor

Finally my phone is connected to the Digital AV Adaptor

I am on the latest firmware and I have tried changing the AV source from ‘iphone’ to ‘other’

Does anyone have any ideas?

Is your phone paired via bluetooth?  What happens when you hit the App Mode button?

Ive tried with bluetooth connected and completely turned off. The app and iPod button don't light up at all. Genuine lightning cable too.

I've had this happen a couple of times. I had to do a hard reboot of the phone and then all was fine.

Ok, thanks, by hard reboot do you mean restore or just hold the power and home button down for 10 seconds or so?

I held the home and power button which rebooted and everything works fine now, thank you!!!

Mine did same thing on Sunday, worked one moment and the next absolute nothing.

These app radios are starting to get right on my nerves.
