The physical buttons are not working but the rest of the unit is!
I have an 01 vw golf diesel that has the Z140BH. It was installed by Best Buy and has been working fine for a year and then all of a sudden I lost access to the physical controls.
Please help if you can.
Have you tried booting into test mode to see if the buttons work there? If not, download the archive and place the files into the root of an SD card. Insert the SD card into your unit and it should boot into test mode and you can use the physical buttons to navigate the menus. If you are able to navigate through test mode you might have a problem with your system files and an upgrade to the 2013 maps might fix your problem.
