USB Connector mounting solutions for device -> Radio connection

A 4000nex user here doing a self install.

Flush mount solutions for the USB cables are ideal but anything without cables dangling works, right.

So far it looks like I may have to settle for a rubberized clamp.

I'm wondering how others have mounted & fixed (or not) the USB cable connections from the radio so they can be easily accessed.

Like most - I need to connect/disconnect various devices.

I bought a insert for my dash scorche USB dash kit for 25 bucks, it does USB and mini stereo connection right to my nex 8000

I checked out their site and it looks like the USBAUXRLK works best. I'll have to dremel a small mounting hole which is fine.

this is how i hid mines. I need to get a 7/8" rubber Grommet

If you have a lighter in the car, you can always just replace the lighter port

my truck has 4 lighter ports. front, inside center console, rear center console, and trunk panel. crazy ports galore lol

Hiding cable in glove-box or re-purpose 12v accessory port can work too. Thanks.

My wires are hidden in the dash and the female USB is inside my center console. I plan to mount it to look like the second post.

Ya I don't like the lose wires dangling so this was a inexpensive solution for me.

There are many out there if you search, in dash USB inserts.

if you want flush mount go with a PAC USBCBL
