Bluetooth and ipod frustrations

Currently I have my iPod hooked up to USB2 and in order to use Pandora via bluetooth I have to unplug the iPod. Is this because I have it hooked up to USB2 or just the annoying case with the new NEX units?

I'm going to be angry if I have to disconnect it each time.

This. Pioneer made the wonderful decision that USB1 is a unique flower, rather than a bog-standard USB port. /s

I had to make sure USB1 was hooked up to the right place so that I could use Pandora over USB.

I rather stream via USB than to use blutooth. better sound and your phone will charge. i hate leaving the car with the bar being less than 100%

I agree, sound is better through USB, and I too am very anal about leaving with an uncharged phone. That's why I installed the lighter replacement USB to my 8000
