I'm getting ready to swap my appradio 3 out to an avic 8000.  It's not here yet, and I can't seem to find an installation manual anywhere online.  Can someone please post a link to it, or a scan of it so I can prep my install ahead of time.  I'd really like to know if the appradio 3 harness will just plug straight in or not and figure out a few other wiring changes I may or may not have to make.

Go to Pioneer's website. They put the installation information back into the owners manual, which is available online there.

Thanks but I've looked at the owners manual available here: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/StaticFiles/Manuals/Car/AVIC-8000NEX_OperationManual030714.pdf  and didn't find any installation info with the usual wiring diagrams.... am I missing something?

I saw a wiring diagram with the 4000NEX and erroneously assumed that Pioneer had put the install instructions back into the owners manual

I think its pretty straight forward. Just match the colors to the harness. In my case i have a chrysler. my Vehicle Speed Pulse wire on harness is pink. On the radio is white and purple. Just make sure to connect the wire to get an accurate speed reading.
