List of Compatable Voice Commands — AVIC411 Forum Archive

Does anyone have a list or knows of a list of voice commands that work with the Avic-8000NEX? For example, I would like to know what the command to change from one mode to the other such as SirusXM or HDradio. Thanks for any help.

I think the voice commands are pretty much not to control the unit but to work with SIRI eyes free. and Android. I could be wrong

That's what I thought it was as well. I don't believe there are actual commands for the HU.

I just got off the phone with Pioneer tech support and they confirmed this to be true. Had I known this, I would have gotten a diffrent system. I had a Avic-110bt and it had voice commands, this just seems like a step back. I want to be able to switch between modes with out taking my eyes off the road. This seems unsafe. I wonder what your thoughts are.

Well I have my factory steering wheel controls in my truck where i can switch sources with a click without looking at the radio. I got the AXXESS ASWC-1.
