App Radio and Charging iPhone 5 with NEX

As some of us know, when using the iPhone 5 with the Z150BH in app-mode the phone discharges with the screen on rather than charges... Does anyone know if the same holds true on the 8000NEX? I'm hoping they're supplying more current this time around to satisfy the power needs..

I have the 4000 and I am able to charge while using Waze in AppRadio mode. Obviously slower than with the screen off, but it does charge. Is there a jailbreak tweak that will allow us to turn the screen off but remain functional from the head unit?

Yea same here. Iphone5 charges with app radio.

Good to know, thanks... As far as I'm aware you can't turn the screen off to use App Radio due to how the screen mirroring for app radio works. I'm hoping that CarPlay doesn't require the screen to remain on.. it's annoying..
