Appradio2 - iOS 7.1.1 - Phone 4s Compatibility

My iPhone 4S is having network issues and my carrier suggests I update to iOS 7.1.1.   Has anyone tried this combo yet?  7.1.1 has Apple CarPlay, but I think that's only for iPhone 5.

I have a 4S that I just installed 7.1.1 on. I drove to work this morning using AppRadio mode (CarMediaPlayer) and everything seemed fine. I didn't test anything else though. In fact, I forgot I updated my iOS.
