AVIC-8000NEX Wiring Harness Question — AVIC411 Forum Archive

I have an aging AVIC-F90BT that I'm thinking of replacing with an AVIC-8000NEX. Does anyone know whether the wiring harnesses for these units are the same? It would be nice to simply unplug the F90BT, swap in the 8000NEX and not have to change out the harness.

Looks the same.

My harness from a avic-930BT did NOT fit. Connector looked almost identical but was a tiny bit too big.

Hopefully it does work out for you. The wiring harness for my car was $300.

I just upgraded from Avic 950 to 8000 Nex and the power wiring harness I used from the 950 worked.

Just thought I'd post an update... I replaced my Z150BH with the NEX8000 and the harness was the same, however when I tried to replace my X920 with the Z150BH the harness was NOT the same... It's pretty close but the tab is on the opposite side.
