I have one of the first N3's w/out the silver sticker (there is no switch on the bottom) anyone know how to bypass this?

I think you in fact have an N1 not an N3. If you do , then you have struck gold because that is the one that is foolproof in bypassing. I believe all you need to do is ground that green parking brake wire. ( connect it to a piece of metal in the car permanently).

With one caveat, if you're using the 50 or 60 series software grounding the brake wire will not work at all. The unit will have to be opened up and soldered.
