i came across this today on cardomain.com which said that you can preorder the z2 already (which i have done) i wanted to get your thoughts on whether this was true or not because i thought that the z2 would not be able to play divx or rip mp3s because the z1 was not able to.

"The Z2 features a motorized 7" touch screen TFT touch panel, allowing awesome control of your MP3, WMV, and AAC music files, as well as DVD and DivX video files"

are they pulling it outta their A$$ or is this something new that none of us knew about?

let me know what you guys think. preorder for 1800 sounds pretty nice to me!

just thought id pass that along incase no one has seen it yet.

Thay have had that Z2 page up ever since they have ran out of Z1 units, which was about 1.5 months ago.

From what my QA friend told me, it will not play divx. It should only be able to play regular DVDs. The D3 can play divx.

where did you pre-order it from?? did you pay the $1,800 already?
