So has anyone actually seen the 3D maps that they advertise so heavily (buildings etc...)? Driving all over LA has no results at all for me. Anyone see anything on their units? I have a 5000

3D Navi Maps...do they exist?

Navigate the map to other big cities and see if they appear.

Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville, Ashville NC and Washington DC all worked on a recent trip for me. Complete buildings etc. I have the NEX8000.

Same here. I live in Brooklyn and I work in the city. Works great and the 3D is very detailed.

Are you sure you have the feature turned on in the settings?

3D Landmarks are only available for 8000 and 7000 models. Have a look at Pioneer's NEX homepage, chose models, click on compare and go to navigation.

Your right. Its only on the 8000 & 7000. I just checked. Bummer.

KUDOS. But we dont know his personal reasons for getting the 5000. Were part of an elite group of the 8000's. I am glad to be a member
