I have installed 2 different 6000's in 2 different vehicles. The inital set up screen comes on after I turn the car off and back on ... has anyone else run into this problem. I have contacted pioneer and they tell me to reset the deck.

I agree, it sounds like the constant power wire is not properly connected.  From memory I think it's yellow.

Make sure its probably connected. the 12v Battery + wire (yellow). I soldered all my connections to get it maximum flow.
