I upgraded from a X950BH to the 8000NEX. So far, I'm very impressed. I love the new maps and the media features, although, I have no idea what this button icon does. The one with the car and arrows. Can't find it in the manual. Anyone have a clue?

That icon is for AVICSYNC app. Will be released sometime in the summer along with car play. It will be a downloadable app for your cellular device.

Ah. Ok. Didn't know that it was something you can turn on and off like that. Just saw the AVICSYNC options in the config menus. That makes sense now. Thanks!

You can go into the settings of Navigation (three bars above the phone icon in your image) and adjust how it behaves. Whether it pulls data from radio stations, or from online (using the yet to be released AVICSYNC) or both. Toggling the button turns it off and on.
