I downloaded the appradio app for my iPhone 5 and immediately had the red badge on it showing the number "2" on it. After navigating around a bit this badge changes to "1" but I have no idea what made it reduce. Now I am stuck with this update badge nagging me and I have no idea what I need to do to make it go away. Has anyone else had this issue and know how to fix it??

If your jailbroken , there are tweaks to remove the badge. One is called "no badge" it's on Cydia

You can make the number go down by tapping a compatible app that has a green dot by its name, meaning new.

New compatible apps show up in the New section for a while only, then they move to the Recommended or Categories tab where it is a bit harder to find them.

You've probably never checked the iTPMS app that was new recently, you can now find it in the Categories section under Utilities.
