I have a NEX 7000,and so far i love it except i can't get the alert tones and the dings(alert tone that precedes the verbal instructions),I've tried adjusting all the volumes in the navigation settings,but nothings seems to work.Sometimes i don't need the verbal commands so i mute it, but it would be nice to have the dings so i know i have an approaching maneuver,

is there anybody that has this function  working for them??

me too, on my 8000 ive turned them on and never heard one ding or alert at all

Everytime i am near a turn it doesn't ding. Just tells me"in xxx feet turn left"
