SPH-DA100 iphone 4 with iOS7

Hi

 

I am going to install the SPH-DA100 AppRadio 2 but i've read conflicting information about using an iphone 4 with iOS7, does anyone know how stable it is? the version i have is 7.1.1 (11d201)

 

I have seen some videos of people using any iphone app on the unit and i was wondering how this works? i assum i need to jail break my phone and install an App? will this work with my setup?

The hack you are referring to is called App Radio Extensions and its not iOS7 compatible at this time. Other then that you should be good to go with the i4 and the App radio. Just make sure you have the 30 pin iPhone connection that comes with the AR2.

I did something silly after i bought the radio i upgraded to ios7, then i realised that hack only worked with ios6,

i've tried to revert back but it's impossible

The AR2 works just fine with iOS7.
