Has anyone here tried iOS 8 on a NEX unit yet? I'm curious if any features break with it.

(Of course the beta itself will be buggy, thats what betas are)

I have and on my brief use this morning, I did notice it took several attempts to make the shuffle play option stick for playing music. I would select it and after a couple of seconds it would grey back out.

Also I did have a message about the phone not auto connecting after I stopped to get gas, but I clicked try again (or whatever it said) and it seemed to connect fine.

Interesting... Does app mode work ok for you? And avrcp with bluetooth?

Not tried those yet.

K, I'll wait till I see some feedback. My biggest fear is I update to ios8 and then pioneer releases avicsync which won't work in ios8.. That's the chances you take tho..

Pioneer no doubt is in posession of the iOS8 beta so there shouldnt be ay issues by the time iOS8 is released.

Everything works fine with my deck and iOS 8.
