Does anyone know if a trim ring from either Z140BH or Z140BH will fit around the NEX8000?

My wife went from a Z130BT to a 7000NEX, and kept the same trim. I think you'll be fine!

I apologize if this is a silly question, but what exactly is this trim ring you mentioned? I'm hoping it's something that can make the HU blend into the surrounding trim a bit better- The current options for a recent Mustang are decidedly aftermarket looking.
