Today June 21st is the first official day of summer.
So those waiting for your summer carplay update or your AvicSync update, the the release date is officially any weekday day from Monday till the end of August!
Lets hope for sooner rather than later.
I wouldn't expect anything until Ferrari rolls out their first car with Carplay. Eddy Cue is on the board of Ferrari so it would make sense that they get the first headlines.

Just installed it. I'm out of town and won't be around my car for a week, anyone wanna fill us in on what this actually does?
I downloaded the app, opened it, created an account, it sent a verification email, and when I clicked on the verification link the response was a blank page saying:
"Your Pioneer Cloud Services account has been successfully validated. You can start using it immediately. Please close this window"
I wonder if this is AvicSync?

I did notice when I went into settings that AvicSync is in text under the two car icon. Maybe it was before. I never noticed it.
Does AppRadio Live work over Bluetooth? I did not notice it under the settings for compatible apps.

If you put your phone into this app before you get into your car you should be fine. That's what I do.

If I start the car in the 'LIVE' app I get the accept prompt from the AppRadio app. So to avoid touching the phone at all I just start in the AppRadio app then jump to the LIVE app from the dash. 5 seconds tops...
And I agree so far. Clock. Weather. Music. All On the same screen and switching between them is instant. Pioneer finally did something right lol.
