I am from Germany and have bought a used Chevy with a build in AVIC-F10BT, still original Firmware and maps from 2009 !!

I want to upgrade maps and Firmware, so I checked and read, that for the F10BT I need to take the us-Firmware update.

I dit, used all cracks, exchenged those two files, inserted the SD Card and the System started to upgrade.

It said, the update was finished, rebooted and still the Firmware stay at 1.0000

But I cannot update anymore - whenever I insert the SD Card nothing happens.

I have tried other SD Cards, formatted them, tried to update to 2.003 - but still, I insert the SD Card and nothing happens.

 

Any hints?
