I got my voucher code for the map update from Pioneer (Germany) yesterday, but the registration form at pioneer.naviextras.com seems to be broken...

I see where it lists the NEX "UC" version. I see "EU" which is obviously European Union, is "UC" United States/Canada?

The AVIC 5000-8000 units are only sold in the US and Canada, from what I can tell. The European versions have different model numbers, so I don't think the UC matters.

Pioneer Germany wrote on facebook today the avic sync app is delayed. Due to high demand for CarPlay this feature will be developed first. AvicSync App is on lower priority.
