Hi all,

I am interested in the AVIC8000NEX and have a galaxy s5. I know Pioneer says it is not compatible with appradio at this time but I was wondering if anyone has tried this setup yet.  I primarily would like to use it for music without having to stream via bluetooth.  Any input would be appreciated.

I have an 8000NEX and verizon galaxy s5 and it works great with appradio unchained.  The only complaint is the pulling the cover off the usb port on the s5 everytime to connect to the mhl.
